ROARRRR!

Hari ini saya ingin berkongsi romper yang saya jahitkan untuk Mahathir. Jarang saya berkongsi hasil jahitan saya untuk si Bujang ni kan? Sebenarnya banyak juga yang saya jahitkan untuk Mahathir, cuma susah sikit saya nak kongsi. Memilih gambar yang sesuai menjadi satu cabara sebab sangat sukar untuk photo shoot dengan si lincah ni. 

Mahathir masih belum paham dengan arahan untuk photo shoot. Sudahnya, setiap kali siap baju dia, tak sempat photo shoot baju sudah mula ada bekas kotoran coklat...huhu. 

Alhamdulillah, kali ni sempat siap photo shoot, Yeay!

Today, I would like to share the romper that i had sewn for Mahathir. It is very seldom that I shared the outfir that I had sewn for him, isn't it? This is because I is very challenging to choose a good picture as he moves a lot during the photo shoot.

Mahathir have yet to understand the instructions given to him during the photo shoot. And of course, before we knew it, there will be chocolate stain on the outfit...huhu. 

Alhamdulillah, this time the photo shoot went well. Yeay!

Romper kali ini adalah pattern yang direka oleh Mel Henry daripada Filles a maman. Pola ini boleh didapati di One Thimble magazine issue 13   . Anda boleh beli magazine One Thimble issue 13 ataupun beli pola tersebut berasingan (Single PDF Pattern).

The romper is designed by Mel Henry from Filles a maman. The pattern can be found in One Thimble magazine issue 13.  You can buy the magazine or the pattern separately.

Saya suka dengan pattern yang simple dan mudah ini. Bukan itu sahaja, pola/pattern ini juga terdapat pelbagai pilihan: romper seluar pendek, panjang, lengan pendek ataupun panjang, leher-V ataupun berbentuk leher bulat. Pola ini juga boleh dijadikan pola t-shirt.

I like the simplicity of the pattern. Not just that, the pattern also comes with a variety of options: length of the pants, sleeves and neckline. It can also be turned into a t-shirt.

Romper yang saya jahitkan untuk Mahathir ini adalah size 2T. Sizing ini sangat sesuai untuk Mahathir.

The romper that I had sewn for Mahathir is in size 2T. The sizing is perfect for him.

Saya telah menggunakan butang KAM Snap untuk baju ini. Butangnya terletak di bahagian bahu dan lengan. Unik kan?

Kesemua fabrik yang saya gunakan untuk romper ini dibeli daripada Spotlight Malaysia. Saya telah menggunakan kain ribbing untuk bahagian leher dan juga cuff bahagian seluar. Untuk bahagian poket pula saya gunakan lebihan fabrik knit berwarna kelabu. Sebelum ini saya pernah menjahit One Romper untuk Aira sempena pementasan di sekolah. 

I used KAM button for the outfit. The buttons are positioned at the shoulders and sleeves. Unique, isn't it?

All of the fabric that I used for the romper is sourced from Spotlight Malaysia. I used ribbing for the neckband and thigh cuffs. For the pocket, I used a grey scrap fabric for the pocket. I scrap was from the One Romper that I made for Aira for her school play. 

Susah sungguh untuk ambil gambar si bujang ni. Banyak sungguh bergerak dan tak boleh duduk diam.

It's very difficult to take his pictures. He moves a lot and just couldn't sit still.

Mahathir sangat suka dengan romper ini. Fabrik bear ini membuatkan Mahathir suka mengeluarkan bunyi...ROARRR!

Nampaknya akan banyak lagi romper yang akan saya jahit menggunakan pattern/pola ini. Ia sangat mudah dan hasilnya sangat  cantik serta selesa. Untuk makluman anda, pattern/pola ini menggunakan kain jenis strechy iaitu knit.

Mahathir loves the romper. The fabric makes Mahathir screams...ROARRR!

It seems that there will be more rompers to be sewn using this patter. It is so easy to use and the outcome is beautiful and comfortable. For your information, the pattern uses strechy fabric such as knit.
